Im Rahmen unseres Charity Startplatzes geht mit jedem Kilometer, jedem Höhenmeter und jeder Kurbelumdrehung ein Beitrag an die Region, welche wir während rund zwei Wochen in all ihren Facetten erleben dürfen. Unsere wohl grösste Motivation dieses Rennen erfolgreich zu beenden. Denn am Cape Epic ist jeder Tag eine Herausforderung für Mensch und Material. Temperaturen bis über 40° C, Sand und Wind verlangen den Fahrern alles ab.

Only a few foreign teams are allowed to participate in the race, amongst them well-known athletes such as Christoph Sauser, and us. Within the framework of our charity entry programme, we donate for every kilometre, every climb and every curve a sum to the region that we are allowed to explore for two weeks. This is our biggest motivation to successfully complete the race. In Cape Epic, everyday is a challenge for the participants and their equipment. In an environment where temperatures can reach more than 40 degrees as well as sand and wind to contend with, the riders are required to surpass their limit!!
